I am just plum tickled! There were 29 aprons in that bag-plus a set of valences! Anyone have some tips on how to wash them and preserve them? Any cute decorating tips out there among you wonderful gals? Your ideas and insight would be greatly appreciated from this old gal. Luv~ Betty~
You really did good - that is a lot of aprons. Afraid I don't have any laundry tips for them.

Hi, there - nice to meet you! Thanks so much for leaving a comment on my jam post. This bag of aprons is fantastic. Over at Red Gingham, Sarah made a lovely bag out of her grandmother's (red gingham) apron - it was a really good idea. You can find Red Gingham on my blog list, but the post was way back in April, I think.
ReplyDeleteIn terms of laundry tips, I'm getting ruthless with my vintage fabrics. If it can't go in the wash at 40 degrees or survive a quick hand-wash then I'm not interested. I guess with your aprons I'd sort them into colourful cottons (40 degrees) and sensitive man-made fibres (cool handwash). Anything that didn't survive - tough! Am I too mean?
Thank you all for your sweet comments and advice! I so appreciate it! Tomorrow I will start washing up the aprons!Thank you Floss for the washing tips! Now if only I had a self-propelled iron! Hugs to all! Luv~Betty
