I just love yard sales and this one was no exception. These are some of the treasures I snagged at one just one street south of me. I love the coal scuttle. It was five bucks but well worth it since I have wanted one since forever. I am going to plant some flowers in that one and it already has a few holes in the bottom. The watering can is enamel (2 bucks) and I got a thermometer to match it for a quarter. The flower pot was a quarter and the daisy wooden box was $3. But I think the real prize in the collection is what is in the bag. As you can see-it was only $3 for a bag of grandma's aprons! Keep in mind that this was the second day of the sale. The bag was on the floor of the garage and the tag was turned away from sight! I think people just overlooked it as just a bag of rags. But me being the curious old hen that I am just had to snoop a bit. And you can bet that I am glad I did! I thought I had just died and gone to the great beyond! More about the aprons in the next few posts! I haven't been this tickled since I won 2 cakes in the cake walk at Mount Michael's Fall Festival in 8th grade! Luv~Betty G~

That sack of aprons alone was worth the trip to town, as we say! Thanks for the comment with salute on my blog. I bet that job of yours wasn't easy. I salute you right back.
